In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to:
- Identify, Harvest, & Prepare: Discover the potent plant medicines that probably grow in your own backyard and how to use them effectively.
- Make Your Choice: Create a tincture or an oxymel (an ancient remedy mentioned by Hippocrates).
- Boost Your ʻOhana’s Health: Add this natural remedy to your medicine cabinet to help your family stay healthy and recover quickly.
Details:
- Cost: $35 per participant (includes all materials).
- Ages: Adults and older keiki welcome! Younger keiki will need constant supervision as we will be working with knives and chili peppers,

Help your ʻohana prevent and fight colds, coughs, flus, and even COVID, with powerful, natural remedies that grow right here in Hawaiʻi, and probably in your own backyard!

- Identify, Harvest, & Prepare Plant Super Heroes: Discover the potent plant medicines that probably grow in your own backyard and learn their superpowers.
- Make an oxymel (an ancient remedy of honey and vinegar)with plant super heroes
- Boost Your ʻOhana’s Health: Add this natural remedy to your medicine cabinet to help your family stay healthy and recover quickly.
Details:
- Cost: $35 per ʻohana (includes all materials).
- Ages: Mākua, kūpuna, aunties/uncles and keiki ages 4 and up are welcome! Younger keiki are welcome, but will need constant supervision as we will be working with knives and chili peppers (optional).
